Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Management (GNIEM), Naushehra , Hoshiarpur is a self financed, multi disciplinary leading engineering institution in Punjab, India. The institution was established in the year 2009 with the view of providing quality education and to inculcate a spirit of social relevance among the young technocrats. Within 5 years of its inception, GNIEM has become one of the premier engineering college in Punjab and due to its excellent academic delivery with the state of art techniques, sophisticated, ultra modern labs and workshops with effective placements.
The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Punjab and is affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University(IKG-PTU), Jalandhar. At present, GNIEM is running five programs of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in different disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
The B.Tech is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a four year program of studies. The course is career oriented and practice based with elaborate and comprehensive practical exposure through visits to technological institutions. Seminars and lectures by experts are an essential part of the curriculum. The 10+2/Intermediate pass candidates with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry background are eligible to join this course. This degree enables the students to work as professional engineers in their respective fields or eligible for bank P.O. technical, Railways Engineering Services (RES), I.E.S., I.A.S., and may pursue higher education like M.Tech, Ph.D. Integrated etc.

About the GNIEM Welfare Club
We, the members of GNIEM welfare club have tried to bring into the concretization -an inclusive text-book aimed at helping students in their final examinations. Within the last one year of its establishment, the club members have exhibited passion for social welfare and hope to never stop surprising you with our diligence. We are determined to carry on Social Services and this year it is hoped that this book would help the students. This initiative is supposed to benefit the students in their board examinations. The college management gives us a lot of encouragement in our community projects. It is our motive to continue the humble efforts in future which would not only charge the spirit of Social Service but also make us good humans.
