Internal Complaint Committee

In accordance with the provision of the Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, our institute aims to offer a safe, secure, and dignified working environment for all employees, particularly women.

In order to sustain this commitment, we have formed an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to deal with harassment complaints within the workplace. The ICC is a system for prevention, ban, and redressal of harassment in a fair, expeditious, and confidential manner.

Objective

  • To promote equality of genders, dignity and respect for all, thereby creating and supporting an environment free from acting in a physically abusive manner.
  • To provide a safe space for employees to report on site, safely and without fear of victimization, any instance of harassment, regardless of form or type.
  • To investigate all allegations of physical harassment in a timely manner that is fair and impartial, under the applicable law and organization policy.
  • To advise appropriate action be taken against employees found guilty of sexual harassment in compliance with organizational policy and the relevant disciplinary requirements of law.
  • To ensure employees are aware of why respectful behavior is important in organizations and the mechanisms available to them for grievance resolution.
