Placement Cell Committee

The Placement Cell Committee of the College has been constituted to facilitate employment and career opportunities for students and to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The Committee works towards preparing students for successful careers by providing guidance, training, career counselling, and opportunities for interaction with prospective employers.

The Placement Cell coordinates with companies and organizations to facilitate campus recruitment drives, internships, training programmes, career guidance sessions, aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews, and other placement-related activities. It also keeps students informed about employment opportunities and helps them develop the skills and confidence required to meet professional expectations.

Objectives

• To facilitate placement and employment opportunities for eligible students through campus recruitment and other career-related initiatives.
• To establish and maintain industry–institution interaction with companies and organizations for recruitment, internships, and training opportunities.
• To provide students with career guidance, counselling, and placement-oriented training.
• To organize aptitude tests, group discussions, mock interviews, communication skills sessions, and other employability development programmes.
• To enhance students' technical, soft, interpersonal, and professional skills in accordance with industry requirements.
• To create awareness among students about career opportunities, recruitment processes, internships, and professional development.
• To coordinate and facilitate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and interaction with prospective employers.
• To support students in making informed career choices and transitioning successfully from academic life to the professional world.
